  If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Kleinzach 22:57, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I thank the contributions, a few really helped. I removed the two "doubtful" references, added inline citations and new references. But the cautionary messages remain. Why? Anne-Marie
Please indent (with a colon) and sign as explained above. What cautionary messages are you referring to? Also can you tell us what your relationship is with the subject of this article? Thank you. --Kleinzach 22:43, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I removed the two "doubtful" references, added inline citations and new references. I also removed a note written by myself for Arturo Rodas' publisher in Spain. Now the article contains the asked verifiable citations, It also has inline citations. But the two "notes" on top remain. There is no COI. --Martin
It seems you have no purpose here on Wikipedia other than promoting Arturo Rodas, hence the COI. Anyway, I've removed the reference tags which I agree are no longer needed. --Kleinzach 11:42, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
To this date I have written articles about Rodas, Luis H. Salgado and the opera "Los Enemigos" by Mesías Maiguashca. --Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 19:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am just arrived to Wikipedia ... Martin
Please sign and date by typing four tildes. --Kleinzach 23:15, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh yes, sorry ... as I said, just arrived. Thank you.

Removing discussion

edit

Please don't remove sections of discussion, as you did at Talk:Arturo Rodas. Feel free to add your own comments, but don't delete or otherwise edit what other people have said. Thank you. --Deskford (talk) 23:32, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ok I wont do it again. But those two comments are not relevant any longer... --Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 04:30, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

HELP

edit

{{helpme}}

How can I erase the article "user:Anne-Marie Martin/Luis H. Salgado" so that the article "Luis H. Salgado" that I just published doesn't have a double? Thank you! --Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 15:23, 11 January 2010 (UTC) Ask an admin to do that. --Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions)   Changing the world one edit at a time! 15:35, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

You can get subpage of yours deleted by adding {{db-u1}} at the top of it. IlyushkaTalk!Contribs 15:39, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{adminhelp}} Can you delete User:Anne-Marie Martin/Luis H. Salgado --Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions)   Changing the world one edit at a time! 15:35, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think you mean User:Anne-Marie Martin/Luis H Salgado? IlyushkaTalk!Contribs 15:39, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
  Done I have deleted it as requested. JohnCD (talk) 15:41, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
JohnCD, I thank you so much!--Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 15:56, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
No problem. For future reference, if you want to get rid of a page in your userspace, the thing to do is add {{db-u1}} (two curly brackest each side) at the top, which means "user requests deletion", and it will be gone within a few hours. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:43, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I will keep this in mind. Still new to Wikipedia ... --Anne-Marie Martin (talk) 17:22, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Salgado.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:12, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
