@Boleyn: Hi, thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. I think I added the references you recommended me to add. They all come from the same website and unfortunately everything is in Finnish. Please let me know if I missed something. Thanks Andiii (talk) 22:18, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

File:2018-19 BIBL Final 4 Logo.jpg edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Disambiguation link notification for July 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pallacanestro Varese, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ronald Moore (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

2019-20 Lega Basket Serie A teams moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, 2019-20 Lega Basket Serie A teams, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:21, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

@CASSIOPEIA: Hi, thanks for the tip. The information in that page are basically "transcluded" from other pages where they are already referenced and at the top of any chapter is indeed written "This section is transcluded from...". I think this way they already have their sources and citations and therefore I don't see any need to add more. Isn't it right? Thanks! Andiii (talk) 08:08, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi Andiii, Good day. All articles need multiple independent, reliable sources where by the sources talk about the subject directly and not merely passing mentioned. Sources from official web site, facebook, interviews, press released, user generated sources, sources that associated with the subject can NOT be used to demonstrate or contribute to the notability requirement to merit a page in Wikipedia. Sources from newspaper and books are good sources and sources can be in any languages. (note: Wikipedia can NOT be the source - see WP:CIRCULAR. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:05, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Thanks for clarifying! I'll fix it then and I'll submit it for review Andiii (talk) 12:13, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi Andiii, welcome and let me know if anything else I could help CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:26, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Hi and thanks again for your help... would mind taking some time to check if the article is OK now? I think it should be properly referenced. Thanks Andiii (talk) 23:42, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Andiii, thank you for providing the sources. Many of the sources (besides the first two) are main page and they do not show the content claimed by the draft article. Pls provide the "exact web page" that reflect the info in the article. ping me when it is done. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:18, 6 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi @CASSIOPEIA:, thanks again for the feedback on my draft... actually at this point of the season is not easy to have complete sources and most of those information are collected from many sources (e.g.). However I tried to link the team page whenever the roster is updated in the official website (this what is normally done in all the team pages), otherwise I related to the generic article. Please let me know if this works. Thanks again Andiii (talk) 15:18, 6 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Done. Add them when they are available. Thank you and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:49, 6 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

References edit

Please do not remove references without replacing them, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 22:26, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Atlantic306: I'm not understanding, Massimo Chessa is not anymore a player of Virtus Roma, there are misleading information that I am removing. The references I am removing are not meaningful, because they refer to a statement that is not valid anymore, besides, those references are old and outdated. I am correcting the wrong information and removing the useless references... what is that I am doing wrong (for the second time) on that page?

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Lega Basket Serie A transactions edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Lega Basket Serie A transactions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Basketball team categories edit

Team categories should not be applied until the player appears in a game for that team. For example, Jerian Grant has signed with Olimipia Milano, but will not play for them until the new season starts. It is after he appears for the team that Category:Olimpia Milano players would be applied. Rikster2 (talk) 00:44, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
