IPL score summary editing edit

Hi Amit Munje,

I notice you have made many excellent edits to pages relating to the Indian Premier League, especially on the 2008 Indian Premier League page. However, I notice that when you have updated score summaries for completed matches (using Template:Limited Overs Matches) you repeated one particular error a few times. This is just a friendly note to help you avoid this error in the future. In the template, "team1" refers to the team batting first, and "score1" refers to this team's leading scorer. However, "wickets1" refers to the bowling figures of the best bowler from "team2". This is because "wickets1" refers to bowling figures achieved during the 1st innings (ie during the time when "team1" was batting). This is so that, for a score summary, all of the relevant details of a particular innings (eg the 1st innings) can be grouped together. Similarly, "wickets2" refers to wickets taken by a "team1" bowler when "team2" is batting.

All the best with your future editing, Juwe (talk) 18:54, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
