Not every album is notable edit

Welcome! I see you're new here. Please read the album notability guidelines before creating any more articles that don't meet WP standards. 69.181.253.230 (talk) 06:36, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please include sources that establish an album's notability in any article you create. Such articles may be redirected or deleted. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 18:24, 10 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

January 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lake of Sorrow may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • '''''Lake of Sorrow''''' is the debut studio album by the Norwegian [[gothic metal'' band [[The Sins of Thy Beloved]]. It was recorded at Sound Suite Studio in August,

Orphaned non-free image File:Trollskau skrømt og kølabrenning.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Trollskau skrømt og kølabrenning.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:29, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Kronet Til Konge edit

Hi. I have undone your move of Kronet Til Konge per WP:NCCAPS: "If the article is about a work in a foreign language (such as a book or other written work, movie, album, or song), using the capitalization found in most English language reliable sources is recommended." and WP:ALBUMCAPS: "In titles of songs or albums in a language other than English, following the capitalization found in most English-language sources is recommended." The only source in the article capitalises each word in the album's title, so I have moved it back. If you can provide other reliable sources that show the title as "Kronet til konge", it can be moved back. Please join in the discussion I started at Talk:Kronet Til Konge. Thank you. My Tent Or Yours edit

I am minded to revert your page move. Nearly all the sources use "Or" rather than "or". Why did you move the page? Tigerboy1966  08:28, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I told him off for that two weeks ago and he didn't respond. You are probably better off reverting it.--Launchballer 08:50, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, my mistake. I won't make such moves from now on without providing some reliable sources. Alzantir (talk) 09:00, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted. Usually the words like "of", "and", "or" etc would not take a capital in titles. Racehorse names however, seem to be an exception as these words are almost always capitalised. I don't particularly like it (especially when "de" is capitalised in French names), but that's the was it seems to be. Tigerboy1966  21:22, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hi Alzantir, I have just reverted a couple of your moves, but the rest of your recent moves do look good (even I am not sure sometimes, it is quite a maze). Might be worth having a look at MOS:CT specifically and WP:MOS generally to get an idea of what should be moved. Happy editing. --Richhoncho (talk) 07:03, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Please do not remove Template:Duration from infoboxes, such as you did at Grey Dawn (album). Per Template:Infobox album, the infobox uses the Duration template. Thank you. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 18:19, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Savn (album) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Savn (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Majestic Nothingness edit

The article Majestic Nothingness has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable song - Standard searches do not reveal enough significant coverage in independent, reliable sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- 1Wiki8........................... ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
