Here are some things that new users sometimes have trouble with, and you will soon find these tips useful:
- When you write messages on talk pages, be sure to sign your name. You can do this using three tildes, like [[User:Go for it!|Go for it!]]. If you use four, a datestamp is automatically added. Five provides the datestamp only.
- Remember to check your work using the Show preview button before you save. This helps prevent mistakes (and the edits used to correct them). Thank you.

Commercial links edit
Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. Abandoned Forever and commercial links edit
- Comment: Thanks Marvin, at least you understand that I made this my second day using Wikipedia. Abandoned Forever is just a popular website that a lot of people interested in Urban exploring go to. The only reason I mention the documentary is because it is one of the first documentaries to be made on abandoned places.
- Don't bite the newcomers isn't a reason not to delete something. Do you understand why the article's being deleted? You haven't shown that you even understand the importance of not adding commerical links, especially to your own website. 5000 hits a month for a forum is nowhere near notable enough to be kept for WP:WEB.
