November 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Arcadia, California—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. Hello, this is a valid Wikipedia article which specifically mentions Arcadia, so I see no reason why it should be removed. 82.3.185.12 (talk) 14:10, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 16:03, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I was not using it in the same place, thank you. 82.3.185.12 (talk) 16:16, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Whalemeat edit

Yum! Delicious!

The whale you used to squish another Wikipedian has been sliced and served as Japanese sashimi.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that, just like the whale in the picture, you have overused your {{whale}}.

TigerScientist (talk) 16:37, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian. CLCStudent (talk) 17:15, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

It is fine CLCStudent I have been in much worse (just check yesterday with scottrichard3) Please don't block the IP user. Even the trout and whale say it is not meant to be taken seriously. TigerScientist Chat 17:27, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

December 2020 edit

Smash!

You've been squished by a whale!
Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something really silly.

You started this edit

  Sizzle!

The trout you used to slap another Wikipedian has been gutted, roasted over the coals, and served with tartar sauce.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that, just like the trout in this picture, you have overused your {{trout}}.

Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
