February 2017 edit

Hello, I'm ToonLucas22. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Leslie Thompkins, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TL22 (talk) 21:12, 9 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Mjolnir (comics). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Home Lander (talk) 22:58, 12 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

July 2017 edit

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Spider-Man (Miles Morales), as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks.   Hello, I'm AlexTheWhovian. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Master (Doctor Who), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so!   Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. February 2018 and July 2018 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to War Doctor. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 17:09, 16 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

This IP account is presently adding text to a plot summary for the film Skyscraper (2018 film) which is beyond the plot size limit in MOS. Please stop making serial reverts to force yur over-long plot section addition into the article. @Yamla: You have previously put this IP on notice and the IP seems to never answer Talk page. The IP is currently making serial reverts against WP policy, and I should be either requesting page protection or reporting this IP account for serial reverts. Please advise the best course to me since you appear to have previous interaction with this IP account. I'll restore the article plot length to MOS standards and to its proper size and await your further advice. JohnWickTwo (talk) 00:23, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

MOS:PLOT edit

I have blocked you temporarily to give you an opportunity to read MOS:PLOT. Plot summaries for feature films should be between 400 and 700 words. Longer than that and you risk violating WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:FAIRUSE. --Yamla (talk) 11:36, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

July 2018 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Trading Places, you may be blocked from editing. Given the number of warnings I'm seeing on this page, it's hard for me to believe you don't know that you need to be careful when adding new material to articles to provide sources. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 00:50, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
