Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Tales of Xillia characters may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • |first=Anoop |last=Gantayat |date=June 27, 2012 |publisher=Andriasang.com |accessdate=May 5, 2013}}</ref> The protagonists in ''Tales of Xillia'' are designed by [[Mutsumi Inomata]] and [[Kōsuke

Japanese School in Bucharest

edit

Hi 4linkeseite,

I noticed that you have removed quite a few links from Japanese School in Bucharest in this edit . I see that they were all "archive.is" links. I understand that the usage of "archive.is" links has been discussed in various RFCs and is not permitted per WP:Link rot#Internet archives, so I am not disputing the edit. I do, however, think it would have been better if you had left an edit sum explain why you removed the links. Even better, would have been to leave a brief explanation in your edit sum and then a more detailed explanation on the article's talk page. Without adding an edit sum, it's easy for somebody unfamiliar with the discussion on "archive.is" to mistake your edit for vandalism and simply revert it as such. A good idea might be to go back to "Japanese School in Bucharest" and leave a WP:Dummy edit to add an edit sum explaining the above-mentioned edit. That way others will understand why you made the change. Just a suggestion.   - Marchjuly (talk) 21:50, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

One more very important thing which I didn't mention above is that although it's OK to remove the "archive.is" links, it is not OK to remove the original link, unless you have very good (e.g., does not satisfy WP:RS, etc.) for doing so. Even if it a link is no longer active, it does not lose it's value as a source because it's dead. A better course of action is to mark dead links with a {{deadlink}} per WP:Link rot#Keeping dead links. This allows others reading the article to know there are problems, and gives them the chance to check for archived links. If you wish to discuss, please do so here. - Marchjuly (talk) 00:21, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:List of Ben 10 characters, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 22:18, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Joker (The Dark Knight), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 22:33, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
