You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Dominion of Ceylon. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

Request reason:

I have edited the page Dominion of Ceylon in the part of the Royal Anthem from "God Save the King" to "God Save the King/Queen" so that we know Sri Lanka was headed by the Queen of the United Kingdom Her Majesty Elizabeth II from 1952 to 1972 as a Dominion. So I don't think these editing is not wrong. If you consider these reasons I'll grateful.

Decline reason:

Whether your edits were accurate or not is not relevant. To understand why, please see WP:V. You must cite your changes with reliable sources; see WP:CITE and WP:RS. If you believe you did that correctly with your edits before your block, please request another unblock review. Yamla (talk) 14:55, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This does not address the points raised by Yamla above. You need to do this in your next unblock request; if you continue to make requests that do not address the reason for the block, you may lose access to this page too, and be blocked for longer should the problematic behavior return. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 15:34, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Royal Pakistan Navy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jalen D.   Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to British Raj, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please do not remove the {{copyvio/core}} template from articles, as you did with INS Viraat. Your action has been reverted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept non-free text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted, and removing copyright notices will not help your case. You can properly contest the deletion at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. If you are the owner of the material, you may release the material under the Creative Commons and GFDL licenses, as detailed at WP:IOWN. Alternatively, you are welcome to create a draft in your own words at Talk:INS Viraat/Temp. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators and/or removers of the copyright notice templates may be blocked from editing. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 12:57, 31 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Simla Agreement did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Gelug, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 16:10, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions notification

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Should you continue your "Ahmadi aren't Muslims" related disruption on more articles I will be asking for sanctions to be applied. FDW777 (talk) 07:15, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
