Who heck are you? I am an Historian by nature and an American by heart (and birth). I hold a degree in Political Science and History. I believe that mankind is essentially Good by nature. I believe only the few make it harder on the rest of us (thus need for criminal law). I believe that the man is Creative and this explains his difference to animals. I believe the use of that Creativity is what progresses mankind forward. I believe that "All men (people) are created Equal." I believe that "Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness" is the Reason of our Republic. I believe that Majority Rule with Civil Rights is the Glue of our Republic. I believe that the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution is the Way of our Republic. I believe the United States Bill of Rights is the extension of Liberty into the public arena. I believe Truth is revealed through Historic example (the effects of ideas practiced). I believe Truth is also revealed through Scientific investigation and methods. I love to read, write, and listen to all the music 'pleasing to my ears." I've been a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley even though he passed away in my very early years. My favorite Presidents of the United States are Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. History, the strange and mysterious, and the unsolved mysteries are fascinating to me. Hence, I keep an open mind to any possibility that is neither true nor false. I like the ideas of: Calendar reform, proportional representation, High Speed Rail, Mars and Moon exploration and colonization, national health insurance for everyone, a national school-trade-University system, national service system, laws to require assembly in the country of sale of any product sold there, energy and economic independence for all nations, trade of surplus-component parts-and exotic goods subject to revenue duty only, hydrogen fuel and industrial hemp for gas-plastics-paper-lumber as alternative's to oil and wood, and conservation of our natural resources including environmental laws to reduce pollution of our air, rivers, and land; among other patriotic and progressive ideas. I oppose legislating morality, invasions of privacy, privatizing Social Security, unsecured borders and ports, wiretapping without a warrant or judicial supervision, sending troops to war from the Reserves and National Guard when a Declaration of War from Congress does not exist, so-called free trade, corporatization of public services and all forms of tyranny. My intention here is to make sure historic articles on Wikipedia are neutral and not personal attacks or political opinion. I am willing to discuss all of the above with anyone. If you do not like changes I make to a page, discuss them with me. I am not perfect. Biography in Brief If I had lived then... If I had lived during the American Revolution I would have been a Patriot. If I had lived during the Constitutional Convention I would have been a Federalist. If I had lived from 1789-1816 I would have been a Hamiltonian Federalist supporting the War of 1812. If I had lived from 1816-1828 I would have been a National Republican supporting President J.Q. Adams and the vision of Henry Clay. If I had lived from 1828-1856 I would have been a Whig supporting the "American System" under debate then. If I had lived from 1856-1929 I would have been a Republican supporting Lincoln, McKinley, and Theodore Roosevelt especially. If I had lived from 1929-1969 I would have been a Democrat supporting the New Deal of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the Fair Deal of Truman, and the New Frontier of John F. Kennedy. I would have supported the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War (Union side), the Spanish-American War, World War I, and World War II. I would have supported MacArthur's plan during the Korean War and been opposed to the Vietnam War and how it was conducted. My passion History...
