More old stuff, yeah. I got all this from my first Summer on Wikipedia (placed as June 20 – September 24, 2009), and through July it's all negative. It wasn't like I was trying to get in trouble here, merely that my help was usually seen as irrelevant.

The recent edit you made to Swingtown was unnecessary. I have read on your user page that you have a particular thing about dates. I suggest that you do not let personal attitudes affect your editing of articles. The dates need to have specific references, even if a show starts and ends in the same year, for the simple fact that it needs to be idiot-proof. I have restored the content you removed here. According to your edit summary, "What's The Story? aired in eleven timeslots during its run, not Down You Go (which ran for over five years)" you believe Down You Go didn't air in 11 different timeslots during its run. According to the reference, however, it did. If you get the 2007 edition of Brooks and Marsh's book (the latest version), this is on page 386:

- Sept 1951-Jun 1952 DuM Fri 9-9:30

- This adds up to eleven time slot changes in five years. Because the program doesn't appear to have run at all from June to September of 1954, according to the reference, I'd say it's just about five years, and have adjusted the text accordingly (thanks for spotting that).
- I've also restored Edie Adams Upper New York Bay dumping incident section, as I feel it's entirely germane to discuss the destruction of DuMont kinescopes in an article which discusses why Down You Go isn't available for viewing anymore. The stated reason for its removal (because the content, two sentences, already appears in another article) doesn't seem valid: Wikipedia is not paper, and can absolutely contain a sentence or two which appear in another article, provided it's relevant to the article. It is.
- I've also linked to Letter to Loretta instead of Loretta Young on the section which discusses The Loretta Young Show (aka Letter to Loretta). I do want to thank you for your improvements to the article over the past year, including a good number of excellent corrections and other improvements, but I don't feel the current edits improved the article, as they removed valid (and referenced!) material. There's so much unreferenced, incorrect material on WP, that these removals came as a shock.

- Hey, thanks for setting me straight on that. Also, I have the "EOTVGS" (Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows) listings on my computer, and I never came across anything stating that the show took a three-month hiatus in 1954.

- Hey Daniel, I haven't read The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows, but it sounds like it's a worthwhile resource. Thanks for the tip; I always like finding new references. Yes, according to Brooks and Marsh (who list only prime-time dates), DYG wasn't airing (at least in prime time) during Summer 1954. It may have run during an earlier time period, but usually they will mention it if it has.
- On the other note, I've got a user subpage at User:Firsfron/talkpageheader that has the basic code for my talk page, which then gets transcluded onto the top of my talk page. Feel free to modify the code and use it for your own, as I modified it from someone else's talk page. :)

Hello, Daniel. I just wanted to tell you that in regards to that Wheel of Fortune layout from 1975, one reason why it doesn't have Bankrupt at the very top was because the other three layouts weren't made by me. Hi. I was mulling proposing Sqrambled Scuares for deletion on notability grounds (specifically the proposed WP:BROADCAST notability standard), but I noticed that you've put a goodly amount of work into it and wanted to see if you could allay my concerns before I decided for sure whether or not to send the article to AFD. Is this show more than what it appears to be: a cable-access game show in a tiny market? Does it have non-trivial, third-party coverage in reliable sources? Let me know your thoughts.
