There is no Syria edit

Why is their no Syria? If you are to add it, maybe the use of this flag symbolizing the conflict could be used. –Spesh531, My talk, and External links 04:29, 11 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done added WikiProject Syria today. Funandtrvl (talk) 19:45, 13 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Burma cat edit

|TF_7_MAIN_CAT = WikiProject Burma/Myanmar articles

|TF_7_MAIN_CAT = WikiProject Burma (Myanmar) articles
Obviously got missed when the other parameters were updated. Le Deluge (talk) 18:10, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

And another one :

(edit conflict)   Done. I think this only affected Talk:Ambassador of Colombia to Russia and Talk:Ambassador of Colombia to Malaysia. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:49, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks both - yes, it wasn't very widespread, but that's another two red-link categories got rid of, it all helps! Le Deluge (talk) 23:54, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Image Replacement edit

Please replace File.Afghanistan COA Transparent.svg by File:Emblem of Afghanistan.svg, as the emblem should be gold, not red.--Antemister (talk) 14:20, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit template request: minor edit edit

I did a minor edit on sandbox version. I want same edit on the main version of the template. Just a minor edit. See the diff of sandbox version of my edit/changes. --Zyma (talk) 16:55, 10 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not done: Same as this discussion. While this template only has about 1,500 transclusions, I see no reason to put any strain on the job queue just to remove a few spaces. Perhaps this can be done along with another, more substantial edit in the future. LittleMountain5 19:32, 10 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why are country name parameters lowercased? Why random (non-alphabetic) order? edit

Unlike other similar templates ({{WikiProject Africa}}, {{WikiProject Oceania}}, {{WikiProject South America}} and {{WikiProject Caribbean}}) this template requires country name parameters to be lowercased, instead of normal case. For example normal-cased {{WikiProject Asia|Afghanistan=yes}} produces

 Asia Template‑class

while lower-cased {{WikiProject Asia|afghanistan=yes}} produces

 Asia: Afghanistan Template‑class

This article is supported by WikiProject Afghanistan.

only the non-standard "afghanistan" works correctly. This is true across all country names in this template. Also, the other templates (except WikiProject Oceania) display the country names in alphabetical order, while this one uses an apparently random order, which makes it difficult to identify if a particular country is supported by this template or not. Could someone with edit access address these issues?? Thanks. LibraryGeek (talk) 02:36, 29 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

In a discussion for {{WikiProject Africa}}, Jonesey95 rightly raises the idea that a major restructuring of this template may be due. Any thoughts on this are welcome. Perhaps a Wikipedia-wide discussion may be appropriate regarding the nature and use of these continental/regional templates, and how to best implement them so they may be used consistently and easily maintained in the future. Please change upper case |China-importance= to lowercase |china-importance= to match the template documentation and the other importance parameters. When this is done, I will fix these 6 pages. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:41, 13 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
