I consider the Japanese Ministry of Education List of overseas nihonjin gakko Japanese schools in North America (Archive). Guam is included in its list of North America. Spanish-speaking regions, Mexico and south, are not included.

This is the list of overseas private school branches (Archive). - This includes the day schools in the Atlanta and Los Angeles areas and the boarding school near New York City.

Former Japanese schools are listed here (Archive).

I don't see a reason to start a separate Template:Japanese schools in North America:

International Bilingual School

edit

MEXT never placed the International Bilingual School in its 1999 list of nihonjin gakko (Archive) nor its 2000 list of shiritsu zaigai kyoiku shisetsu (Archive). It's also not mentioned on MEXT's list of closed schools (Archive). Therefore I should mention that IBS was unrecognized by MEXT. WhisperToMe (talk) 07:23, 22 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
