how about adding some information to the article about how zattoo makes the viewer behaviour completely transparent. all user data is collected and sold for maketing purposes. privacy is completely abandoned! this kind of service should better not succeed...

  • Do you have any proof of this? As I can't find any allegations about this and have never experienced any spam from or thru them.Asips77 (talk) 09:12, 26 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Should add some information about versions and releases, as it is the case for most software articles on Wikipedia. 83.76.186.183 (talk) 13:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Geo-blocking, as this technique is frequently referred to, is easily overcome by the use of proxy servers and VPNs, therefore the measures employed by Zattoo are generally regarded as meaningless."

It may be meaningless to a techie, but the absolute majority out there won´t use it if it cannot been done conveniently. On or Off, Channel, Volume. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.42.84.255 (talk) 19:37, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
