We need to add Yuri Arstanov (who came up with the space elevator in 1960) and the unit named after him, the Yuri. I'll get on it in a while. Mathwhiz90601 (talk) 15:50, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can't we transfer all Юрий names from here to Yury? It's difficult to support two disambigs for one thing. Ignatus (talk) 16:17, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hard to set a limite but as the Asian name ″Yuri″ is also included, I think it would be better to merge Yury into Yuri.
I also think it should include all the alternative transliterations:
  • Russian: ury, Yuri, Youri, Yurii, Yuriy, Yurij, Iurii or Iouri (copied from Yury) — BTW, if Ury is included, then there's also Uri...
  • Japanese: 由利, 祐里, 由理 , 由里 (reference ゆり) Cy21discuss 18:42, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • "Yury" is not a disambiguation page; it's a page about the first name. It is a common practice to keep the two separate.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); April 27, 2015; 12:11 (UTC)
