YTV (Myanmar)YTV (Burmese TV network) – Per WP:NCBC. Articles about networks should use (radio network) or (TV network) to disambiguate, but a longer business name can be used for natural disambiguation if appropriate (e.g. The Sports Network rather than TSN). The addition of the country or other clarifying adjective can be used to further disambiguate. Also, Note: "Channel" in article texts and naming is largely deprecated on Wikipedia and should be reserved only for articles about a single content stream with information too extensive to be included in the primary article for the associated network – e.g. Fox Sports 2 channel, a part of Fox Sports network. I am unsure, however, if it should be "Burmese TV network" or "Myanmar TV network", which is why I am doing this instead of doing a WP:BOLD move.  Bait30  Talk 2 me pls? 21:09, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Relisting. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:15, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Note: I've closed the Canada move, but have left open the Myanmar move and will re-list.  User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:15, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Note 2: In regard to what was the second proposal, YTV (TV channel)YTV (Canadian TV network), "YTV (TV channel)" is a redirect and so is ineligible to be a current title in a move request. This proposal has been altered to reflect that fact. P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 02:05, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support for correct guideline disambiguation. --Gonnym (talk) 09:09, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support, although I would be in favour of YTV (Myanma TV network), to use the demonym consistent with our article title of Myanmar. 162 etc. (talk) 14:58, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support the second, no opinion of where to move the first, with the caveat that I still oppose "TV network" over "TV channel" in cases such as these (cable TV channels are not really "TV networks" in any real sense) – but I don't really find examples of either "(Burmese TV [series/channel])" versus "(Myanma TV [series/channel])", so I have no opinion on which is better. But I do agree that YTV (Myanmar) needs to be moved from its current location, as per guideline. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:10, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support as proposed - "Burmese" seems to be the more common demonym disambiguator used on Wikipedia. The Myanmar article lists that and "Myanmari" as demonyms, but "Myanmari" isn't used and I think, if we were to reexamine, we'd instead use "Myanmar" as a disambiguator across the board. These are both networks in the common sense because they provide multiple channels of content, both live and on demand via multiple providers, so this is a correct implementation of WP:NCBC. -- Netoholic @ 08:24, 6 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment: Regarding the use of "Myanma" vs "Burmese". The category Category:Burmese television shows uses "Burmese" so the disambiguation should follow. --Gonnym (talk) 12:24, 6 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
You are correct. I would be in favour of renaming these to Category:Myanma television shows and Category:Myanma television series, but that's outside the scope of this RM. 162 etc. (talk) 20:21, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support, but move the second to YTV (Canadian TV channel). Mvcg66b3r (talk) 09:04, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:34, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
