  • Comment: It's been a little while since I did one of these nominations so I'm open to feedback! I've included quotes from the three sources I have for the hook, but all require some level of registration or subscription to access. Please let me know if I can be helpful providing access to them.

QPQ: Done.

Overall:   Article is new enough, long and no copyvio. Mackinder sounds like a very interesting man! Assuming good faith on sources which are paywalled or print. The hook is very interesting, and I'm also proposing ALT1 based on sources used in the article. The only issue is it looks like qpq might be necessary if you have had more than 5 DYK nominations. Other than that, This is good to go! BuySomeApples (talk) 21:27, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for that! I prefer your hook. I didn't realise about the QPQ so I'll take a look at the review queue as soon as I can.  -- Lear's Fool 11:13, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@BuySomeApples I've completed a QPQ review for Bailey Wightman  -- Lear's Fool 01:11, 5 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
