Flushometer edit

The explanation of the Sloan Flushometer in this article is far better than the one on the toilet page, or the one on the Sloan Valve Company page. Perhaps it could form the basis of a Flushometer article? K8 fan (talk) 22:29, 27 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Flushometer has been an article since 10 July 2010

Flushometer redux edit

I removed the flushometer section again, this is a biography, we have a separate flushometer article where this material belongs once it is referenced. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 19:00, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

The article should say more than Sloan invented a toilet flushing widget. How many readers know what a flushometer is -- even though most of them have used one. I agree that the current description is more technical than the article needs, but it is a disservice to the reader to withhold significant details of his most widely-used invention. That is why we have over 10 million blue links in articles, and one of them is for "Flushometer", why aren't you working to improve the existing flushometer article instead of duplicating it within a biography?. Can you imagine if the over 10,000 entries that mention "New York City" all became mini articles on the city? --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 20:20, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
