I would appreciate a .svg file of a open-source map, I know there is a KML, but I feel we should have a map include in the article.--JJBers (talk) 01:38, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

I might be coming back to this trail this summer to ride on it again and take photos. If I end up taking photos I'll upload them to Wikimedia Commons. —JJB^ers 18:12, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

What did they do?

Thank you for your work on this article. After doing some research on the Narragansett Pier Railroad, I am very curious about the work of these two fellows: "Shortly after the railroad was abandoned, a mill owner and a town councilman Anthony Guariello..." Length

An issue came up in last year's DYK nomination for this page: The length given on the RIDOT website (and every other source that cribs off it) is incorrect. The path at its current state is 6.8 miles long, but the RIDOT source claims 7.8 miles. RIDOT claims 2.9 miles for Phase II, but that's actually 1.9 miles. I have emailed RIDOT to ask for the website to be corrected; they claimed they would, but did not.

While WP:VNT applies here, we certainly should not be giving incorrect information. Traillink and the South County Bike Path website both give the correct value. Several book sources give the original rail line - which extended substantially past the current end of the trail - a length of 6.8 miles.

I think the correct thing to do is to use the latter set as sources for the 6.8 mile length, with a footnote explaining that some sources incorrectly give 7.8 miles. Thoughts? Pi.1415926535 (talk) 03:11, 6 April 2017 (UTC)

Bike path proposed extension completed

I have no connection to the bike path other than having family in the Kingston area and living in RI myself, but I know first hand that the bike path now extends all the way to URI since I walked on it a couple months ago. I propose moving the "proposed extensions" tables into the current "road crossings" section, at least the URI extension, since I'm not sure on the others.
