"Hanoverian" Wendland

edit

In German this is not common anymore, since there is no "Hanoverian" kingdom or province anymore. At least in German its just "Wendland" as it should be in English, too. 92.231.204.17 (talk) 22:56, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

– The primary topic is the region of Wendland, currently at Wendland (region), notable because of its history and culture as a Slavic enclave within greater Germany, its unusual rural architecture which is shortlisted as a world heritage site and decades-old controversies associated with the nuclear waste plant at Gorleben. The other terms mentioned are derivations of this primary meaning: Hanoverian Wendland lies within the Wendland itself and the Free Republic of Wendland was a very short-lived, anti-nuclear, protest camp, also within Wendland. German Wikipedia also has de:Wendland as the primary topic. This proposal would also address the 2 issues raised above. Bermicourt (talk) 13:26, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
