Series 1 original title sequence

It should be noted that when series 1 was first broadcast and for its original Friday night repeat run on ITV it had a specially filmed title sequence involving Malcolm and Brenda messing about at the side of a boating lake with a row boat, but on later rpts such as on Granada plus, and now on DVD, the titles were changed to a montage of shots from the series as had been done for the second and all subsequent series titles.81.111.124.190 (talk) 05:32, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Watching → Watching (TV series) – I propose that the clear primary topic of the term, Watching, is Looking; alternatively, perhaps their is no clear primary topic and this title should be disambiguated. Either way, this article should be moved, and my first choice would be to retarget "Watching" to "Looking". BD2412 T 19:08, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

• Oppose. Aside from the fact that watching is not synonymous with looking, pageviews indcate this is the overwhelming WP:primary topic for the title. Add a hatnote pointing to looking if necessary, but not many readers are likely to use it. Station1 (talk) 22:34, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
  • The concept of "watching" is discussed in Looking, as watching is one kind of looking. There is also an article on Observation, although it is focused on the scientific use of the term. I note that the TV show "watching" is actually named for the practice of birdwatching, which is sometimes colloquially called "watching", and which gets several times the pageviews of "Watching".     • I see only one sentence about "watching" in Looking and the word isn't mentioned in Observation. That's to be expected since we're not a dictionary and "watching" isn't really an encyclopedic topic.
