Wassim Mansouri → Wassim Manssouri – The s letter should be doubled in the family name as it represents the Arabic letter saad (ص) and not the seen (س) letter... John k daher (talk) 07:48, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose: Every single source spells his last name with one 's'. Even Lebanese sources in English such as LBCI and MTV spell his name like that. Read Wikipedia:No original research (just the first line explains everything well). Prodrummer619 (talk) 14:49, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Not every source uses one and even on some Lebanese gov sites that have use two s's such as [1]. However way more Lebanese gov sources use just one. A google for 'site:gov.lb "Wassim Manssouri"' has just 9 hits but 'site:gov.lb "Wassim Mansouri"' has 9 pages of results. In general use not just using the Lebanese gov sites both uses appear about equal in frequency, so COMMONNAME is unclear. KylieTastic (talk) 16:49, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
