  • ... that Wahan Ke Log is one of the earliest science-fiction films made in India? Source: ("While this was not strictly true – there had been some previous attempts to make science-fiction films in India, mainly B-movies such as Miss Chaalbaaz (1961), Trip to Moon (1967) and Wahan Ke Log (1967)." Smith, Iain Robert (2016). Hollywood Meme: Transnational Adaptations in World Cinema. Edinburgh University Press. p. 117.)
    • ALT1:... that Wahan Ke Log is the first Hindi science-fiction film? Source: "The first Indian movie (in Hindi) which had some element of Sci-Fi in it was Wahan ke Log (people from there) and included visitors from Mars in its story." (Mohan Nautiyal, Chandra (20 June 2008). "A look at S&T Awareness - Enhancements in India". Journal of Science Communication.)

  •   Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but while this source may say it's the first, your article keeps calling it one of the first or one of the earliest. Yoninah (talk) 19:48, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • I'd pick ALT2 anyday. :) Anyway, there's no contradiction actually - one of the earliest Indian films, and the earliest Hindi film - which are not the same. I think either hook can be approved, but maybe the original gives a less exraordinary claim, which is probably more fitting at this stage. ShahidTalk2me 08:19, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
  •   April Fools Day hooks are collected from the entire previous year, and the hooks in the sets get a lot of views. But if you would prefer to run now with a regular hook, that's fine too. Restoring tick for ALT0 per SL93's review. Yoninah (talk) 10:09, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
