Talk:Vuk (novel)

Vuk edit

Vuk is Serbian word for the animal wolf. In earlier times that name was given to weak male neonates, so it would protected them from illness and witchcraft. Female forms are:Vuka, Vukosava.

Does it have anything to do with this article? Vuk in the novel is a fox, and his name mens "Vadászok, utamból kotródj!" (I'm hunting, get out of my way!). I don't know if the Serbian name for wolf influenced the author, as there are no wolves at all in the story. --131.188.3.21 (talk) 17:06, 9 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Serbian name for wolf has nothing to do with the novel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paloczydavid (talkcontribs) 15:35, 12 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
