Alternate format edit

Data here should be merged into chart such as Southern_Railway_of_Vancouver_Island#Chart and put in as a new section, perhaps called Passenger Service in Southern Railway of Vancouver Island. --KenWalker | Talk 03:50, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Title needs to be corrected edit

The spaced en dash in the title should be replaced with an un-spaced en dash, as in the "a New York–Los Angeles flight" example in MOS:NDASH. To be exact,

Victoria – Courtenay train

should be corrected to

Victoria–Courtenay train

Really badly worded sentence edit

I almost can't make heads or tails of the followung:

In July 2014, following successful funds reached by the local, federal and provincial governments to replace trackage and repair bridges along the line...

This sentence is as clear as mud! "...successful funds reached...?! There's got to be a better way to say this, so it's clear. Any ideas?... --IJBall (talk) 02:28, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

 – Figured out a better way to word that. --IJBall (talk) 03:33, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Contradictory Dates edit

Confused by this excerpt here in the history section: “Via Rail began operating the passenger train in 1979. During a period of low ridership, all trains terminated at Parksville and a bus continued to Courtenay. Service to Courtenay resumed in 1977". It is unclear how service to Courtney resumes in 77' when the service itself began in 79'. I'm assuming 1977 is a typo and it should be a much later date, but I cannot find the real date in the articles reference list. Kristian.blais (talk) 16:07, 30 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
