This article, from the 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia, is well out of date: I visited Vallombrosa in 1970, and the monastery was inhabited by enough monks – presumably of the Vallombrosan confederation, though being aged 13 at the time I wouldn't have known enough to say – to produce excellent honey. It is a seriously idyllic place. UnknownSage (talk) 14:58, 19 September 2010 (UTC) 14:55, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Vallumbrosan OrderVallombrosians – This demonym form "Vallombrosians" is the more WP:COMMONNAME in reliable sources than "Vallumbrosan Order" per Ngram and Scholar (see [1] vs [2]). Using the plural demonym rather than the corporate name is also WP:CONSISTENT in style with other similar articles about monastic congregations and religious orders. See Olivetans, Sylvestrines, and Camaldolese; also Trappists, Carthusians, and Carmelites. Epistulae ad Familiares (talk) 14:16, 8 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
