Move to USS Orizaba (ID-1536)
editI moved this article because, although the DANFS entry lists the ship as SP-1536, the more recently written (and updated) image page at the Navy Historical Center (here) has the ship listed as ID-1536. This name is also consistent with other former passenger ships used as World War I transports.—Bellhalla (talk) 15:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Information removed in “World War II” section
editI removed several paragraphs of improperly sourced information from the “World War II” section of the article. There was a parenthetical notation that the info came from a personal diary of a USNR crewman on board the vessel, but a quick search didn't show that diary to have been published anywhere. I have removed it for the time being, but if the source is indeed published somewhere and, thus, verifiable, it can be re-added (and better integrated, perhaps). — Bellhalla (talk) 13:21, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
