The result of this discussion was a merge between UEFA Euro 2012#Match officials and UEFA Euro 2012 match officials

I think it would be a good idea to merge this article (UEFA Euro 2012 match officials) into the main article UEFA Euro 2012. Very little of the info in the article is not already in the main article and the article will not likely to be expanded much in the future. However, in the main article, there is no discussion of ticketing, whereas there is in this article. Information about ticketing should be added to the UEFA Euro 2012 main article. • Support. For same reasons as above. As per the other pages, please get-on and merge them all. Currently this is all a mess. Jimthing (talk) 20:46, 21 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Counter-proposal Merge with UEFA Euro 2012 disciplinary record rather than bloating the main article with lists of names that add no info about the tournament per se. I cannot understand the comments above about information regarding ticketing being present in this article, nor how that is of any relevance to match officials. My mistake. The "ticketing" section is in the UEFA Euro 2012 venues page and is not in the main article. There is a merge discussion for that page as well, and I meant to recommend the bit about the ticketing on that talk page, not this one. Ignore the comment. Question: What is the definition of consensus? I see that there is some disagreement and I want to know when a consensus is reached by Wikipedia definitions. Also, I read on the Merging help page that the discussion should remain open for two weeks, which I will do before making any merger. Can someone briefly explain the merging procedure? Thanks.
