I disagree with the "spy ship" designation. Spying is "to observe secretively or furtively with hostile intent" versus surveillance is "continuous observation of a place, person, group, or ongoing activity in order to gather information". The Type 815 ships, like the Boeing RC-135 aircraft, are designed to operate in the open (and in international waters/air space). They are not like naval trawlers masquerading as civilian fishing vessels. I propose the title to be changed from "spy ship" to "electronic surveillance ship".
