Despite what Volcanoguy thinks or his reference thinks there are no volcanoes on Vancouver Island. Any and all volcanic rock found on Vancouver Island was formed on the sea floor and has been uplifted to its present position via plate tectonics. --Backcountryexplorer (talk) 22:14, 25 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Backcountryexplorer: So far you have only provided your opinion, not reliable sources to back up your claim that there are no volcanoes on Vancouver Island. This is the problem because Wikipedia is not for original research. However, there are sources that state otherwise. While you are correct that Vancouver Island was formed on the sea floor and has been uplifted to its present position via plate tectonics, the rocks forming Twin Peaks were deposited after that took place. Even if Vancouver Island formed on the sea floor that is not good evidence for there being no volcanoes - they can also form under the ocean as submarine volcanoes.
