Talk:Theobald Piscatory

Rough translation? edit

It has the line "A son of François Hyacinthe Arcambal, an employee of the ministry of war, and of Thérèse Rosalie Pélagie Deshayes, on 16 germinal year 7 (6 April 1800) Théobald was adopted by Antoine Pierre Piscatory and took his name." What would "in germinal year 7" be in typical English language terminology? "On his seventh birthday," "In his seventh year" or what? Does this mean he remained with his parents but somehow became the heir or protegė of Antoine Piscatory, or did he move into the Piscatory household? Edison (talk) 20:26, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
