Independence? edit

At least nine of the thirteen sources in this thing are written by the subject or published by an organisation in which the subject has a prominent role. They're not independent sources and it bothers me that they're being used in a way that suggests she is more notable than in fact she may be. - Sitush (talk) 10:40, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Usability of Thenmozhi Soundararajan's Podcast Page edit

@Primeive WP:SOCIALMEDIA very clearly states that self published material may be used to describe the subject it was published by

Self-published and questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, usually in articles about themselves or their activities, without the self-published source requirement that they are published experts in the field, so long as: the material is neither unduly self-serving nor an exceptional claim; it does not involve claims about third parties; it does not involve claims about events not directly related to the source; there is no reasonable doubt as to its authenticity; and the article is not based primarily on such sources. This policy also applies to material published by the subject on social networking websites such as Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Facebook.

That being said, I saw you claimed that it wasn't self published. As far as I am aware, this is Thenmozhi Soundararajan's podcast page, as can be evidenced by the fact that her podcasts are uploaded there, and the page claims that "This is a podcast creator profile forThenmozhi Soundararajan. I realize you are new to Wikipedia, but what is your argument against using this source? Josepherino (talk) 03:56, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Its not her page. Primeive (talk) 04:00, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
do you have any evidence for that? Josepherino (talk) 04:06, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
She has to tell her religion. It is not social media. The information is from a revision of Wikipedia. You can claim the profile in podchaser. Primeive (talk) 04:15, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
