editi cleaned up the 'sections' part of the article, and changed some of the content under 'editorials.' don't want to step on anyone's toes, but i wanted the article to read more clearly.--212.240.35.234 14:54, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Removal of a meaningless directory from the article
editInstead of engaging in edit conflicts, and before opening a WP:RFC here, I would like to hear from fellow editors (preferably those with an account and more than 10 edits...) whether the content at The Tufts Daily#Staff section, which is a list of non-encyclopedic non-notable names of students who held positions at this university newspaper, is important enough to remain on Wikipedia. I have looked into dozens of other Category:College newspapers - none has a thorough "past managing board members" section the way this page does (and this is even the case for other well known national newspapers). A few of them have a perfectly reasonable section about "Awards and honors" or "Famous alumni", and some mention the current editor in chief and a few notable past one. I have therefore removed the content in question now (the current newspaper's staff/leadership was left untouched) - do not add it back before discussing it here, with a policy-based argument, otherwise reverting again may result in a block of that IP address. If for some reason there's still any disagreement afterwards, I will request a WP:30 or a WP:DNR process. Thanks, Shalom11111 (talk) 13:22, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- Gone. No place for that in an encyclopedia - the pub website is that way-> . Toddst1 (talk) 05:05, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
