Instead of simply deleting the entire sections in an attempt to censor this information, please try to improve the sections by making them more neutral.

Student Discontent

In recent years, individuals and student groups have accused the newspaper of various forms of misconduct (inaccurate representation, lying by omission, violating basic journalistic ethics and publishing propaganda). These accusations generally intensify during student elections. Other students have expressed frustration with their perception that the writers and editors take a one sided and biased approach to the topics on which they report, calling for a more neutral newspaper.70.24.209.152 (talk) 13:37, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Since 1980, The Daily has been independent from student government. It is published by the Daily Publications Society, whose membership automatically includes all McGill undergraduate students and most graduate students.
