Well, considering both of those examples are for films titled "Harvest" without the definite article, I had not noticed them. Then The Harvest (documentary) should be moved to The Harvest (2010 documentary film) as it is consistent with the naming conventions at WP:NCF, i.e. it is against consensus to use (documentary) alone as a disambiguator (see here). Move again

As production,[1] distributor,[2] and multiple independent reliable sources [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] all seem to indicate that the film documents the 2009-2010 farm season for three teens, and was first released July 29, 2011. I've tagged this talk page with found sources and will boldly make the move to The Harvest (2011 film) in a few days. Schmidt, ^{MICHAEL Q.} 10:09, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

I'm now having second thoughts toward efficacy of The Harvest (2011 film), though I still think a move is correct. When Template:Infobox film instructs "Insert only the most relevant release date(s) of the film", my initial thought was the sourcable 2011 theatrical release, as I believe per sources and reviews that 2011 as likely the most relevant. However, Template:Infobox film#Release dates states "Release dates should therefore be restricted to the film's earliest release, whether it was at a film festival or a public release, and the release date(s) in the country or countries that produced the film, excluding sneak previews or screenings". This had a limited but important screening September 16 2009, before lawmakers at a panel discussion at U.S. Department of Labor,[15] and did have several festival screenings in 2010 where it gained media recognition. However, now I'm thinking that despite the easily sourcable festival releases of 2010 and despite the sourcable IMDB theatrical release date of 2011, The Harvest (2009 film) is the proper move choice per guideline's instructions toward a film's earliest public release.     Indeed the first attempt to create this article was apparently titled The Harvest/La Cosecha – that was deleted 00:50, 13 October 2009 as unambiguous copyright infringement. Then, the current article was created a few hours later, at 16:21, 13 October 2009. @Lugnuts: Do you oppose this alternative too, or just The Harvest (2011 film)?     Now I see that The Harvest/ La Cosecha moved to The Harvest (2010 film) at 21:15, 8 November 2009 because "No reason to use a mixed-language title; no documented use thereof." So when the cut & paste copyvio was recreated at 16:21, 13 October 2009 a space was (inadvertently?) added to the title The Harvest/ La Cosecha. As for "No reason to use a mixed-language title" we do have a valid reason: disambiguation. And there is documented use thereof—multiple sources use this title/subtitle. The (sub)title is used to emphasize the language spoken by the subjects of the film. – Wbm1058 (talk) 13:39, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

  Unfortunately that claim is not properly sourced. While the article asserts November 2010 as a "premiere", all the non-independent source gives us is that it "screened",[16] and we already know it has screened earlier and had "premiers" in 2011. Schmidt, ^{Michael Q.} 17:40, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

• Support move to article's original title of The Harvest/ La Cosecha per the multiple independent reliable source referring to this film BY that relevent and sourcable title. Interestingly, the production company tells us that as The Harvest/La Cosecha the film actually had its US premiere at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in April 2011.[17]. We have Post Chronicle speaking toward an Longoria TWEET about a June 2011 "national premiere": "She later tweeted a photo of herself on Capitol Hill, writing, "On the Capitol re-introducing the Care Act and getting ready for national premier of Harvest- great documentary about child labor in Us." And then we have an August 2011 source about a "Los Angeles premiere": "para la premiere en Los Ángeles de la película "The harvest" ("La cosecha")." And we have another source tellng us of a September 2011 premiere:"the documentary The Harvest/La Cosecha, produced by Eva Longoria, premieres tonight at 7:30PM"Even Metacritic offers numerous RS reviews in numerous sources as The Harvest/La Cosecha [18]. I support this move to original article title as a decent compromise and a valid disambiguation that does not require any continued arguments about multiple "premieres" or the facility or lack of using 2009, 2010, or 2011 in the film title. The searches above are bringing back false postives as "The Harvest" is a common English term, so the film is referred to The Harvest/La Cosecha to aid searches, rather than it being the correct title.
