Page Movement edit

You should move this page. When one makes a search on 'The Divince Comedy', one will be directed to the page about Dante. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.165.63.165 (talkcontribs) 21:42, 9 January 2006‎

"Too Young to Die" edit

I've removed the line 'Hannon expresses his feelings about remaking himself in the song "Too Young To Die." ' from discussion of the bands image change. I don't believe it to be true. If someone could provide a reference, perhaps an interview, where he states this, then I'd be happy to have it put back in. Annihilatenow 10:33, 12 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is the line that you're referring to "Now it's time to say goodbye, to my suit, my shirt, my tie, my youth seems to have passed me by, maybe it's time for a change"? If so, I sorta see where you're coming from, but until Hannon confirms that was his intention, we're just speculating. Speculation probably doesn't have a place in an encyclopadia article. Rudy Colombini edit

Does anybody know if Rudy Colombini was ever a member of this group? - Zepheus (ツィフィアス) 19:13, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm fairly sure that no-one by that name's ever worked with the Divine Comedy, but I'm open to correction. Annihilatenow 16:26, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

His site biography says that he's worked with a "Bay Area" band that also happens to be called The Divine Comedy, which is presumably where the confusion's arisen from. --McGeddon 16:35, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:TDC asecrethistory.jpg edit

Image:TDC asecrethistory.jpg is being used on this article.... Image:Thedivinecomedyabsentfriends.JPG is being used on this article.... Image:Thedivinecomedyabsentfriends.JPG is being used on this article.... I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.[cut]

Fair use rationale for Image:Divine Comedy - Something For The Weekend excerpt.ogg edit

Image:Divine Comedy - Something For The Weekend excerpt.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This also seems a long sample. Although I would hate to see it go, could someone shorten it? Gimmetrow 06:14, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
