I marked this as NPOV due to its claim of Norman being an informant, without any proof as such. 130.101.31.31 04:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I haven't read the books cited, but isn't it a bit strange to mark an article with NPOV without having checked the references? "Proof" is a slippery term - if reliable sources say that he was, and no reliable sources say that he wasn't, we say that he was, I think. --Alvestrand 05:28, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Multiple hard evidence and testimonies reveal that Mr. Norman was working as an informer/photographer as early as the fourth quarter of 1968. He stated on several occasions after the May 4, 1970 shootings that he did in fact work for the FBI, and they had to change there story from a "no" to a "yes", although the FBI was still not totally truthful with their answere to the media. A variety of documentary evidence including testimonies besides Norman's does place him as an armed informant/photographer who was between the Guard (shooters) and the the four students that were shot and killed. Much evidence the FBI had on the step by step actions of Mr. Norman have been concealed, confiscated, or locked away for 6 decades. If you want to find out more and the connection with "Watergate", you may wish to contact former Senator George McGovern - he had a package on it. KSUMAY4

Terry Norman admitted to me on at least two separate occasions (while working on Jerry Godwin's campaign for student body president in - i believe - the summer of '68) that he was both an informant and a photographer working with the KSU Police. Chris Butler - 5/2/08

1944 or 1949? edit

This page lists 1944 as date of birth at the top, but '49 at the bottom.

"Police action"? edit

The section of the article, currently written as; "There were several reasons why Norman is commonly cited as being involved in the beginning of the police action:" seems to be referring to the shooting by the National Guardsmen. Is this accurately described as a police action, or would it be better described as a mass shooting, or massacre?--Senor Freebie (talk) 02:38, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
