Sly appeared in Downhill Racer first in a restaurant scene, as that was shot in Leysin in the early months of 1969, where he was a student. Bananas appearance

There are some sites which refer to his appearance in Bananas as a cameo, but this seems to be a clear misuse of the term, as it is hard to argue that Stallone was a star in 1971.
