Two separate pages for Spätzle and Swabian Spätzle?

edit

Is there any reason to have this as a separate article from Spätzle? There are several regions that may make Spätzle in their own way, does Swabian Spätzle need a separate article or would it not be better to be merged into one article? It's not really a separate food from Spätzle, just a regional way of preparing it --Mezaco (talk) 22:03, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Swabian SpätzleSwabian spätzle – or Swabian spaetzle. The word "Spätzle" would be capitalized in German, but this is the English Wikipedia. The English Wiktionary has lowercase entries for Wikt:spaetzle and Wikt:spätzle, and apparently indicates that the Wikt:spaetzle spelling is more common. "Swabian" is not a German word, so the title of this article is either in English or is a mixture of English and German. (See also the above suggestion to merge this article into the Spätzle article.) — BarrelProof (talk) 22:48, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
