Lack of citations edit

Many "achievements" of Mr. Nam Pyo Suh written on this article do not have citations. Furthermore, some of the descriptions are not neutral at all. "View History" shows these descriptions were written by the IP address 143.248.210.102, which is associated to the host name hyj.kaist.ac.kr, which resembles the initials of Ms. Hong, Yoonju, who is one of the secretaries of Mr. Nam Pyo Suh of KAIST. Probably this fact is the cause of this way biased-ness of these assertions, which are too much in favor of Mr. Nam Pyo Suh. These expressions need serious revisions to meet the standard of Wikipedia. All these assertions without proper citations may be removed unless they are documented soon. 158.144.67.182 (talk) 15:37, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Deleted Section(Controversy) was recovered. edit

Deleted Section(Controversy) was recovered. Also, User:Clampee's vandalism was reported by the Hangyoreh, so I added this story([1]). --203.230.239.27 (talk) 01:33, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

And I have removed it again per WP:BLP. Please explain why this section is necessary and how the issues are directly relevant to the subject, apart from being an attempted hatchet job. – ukexpat (talk) 04:03, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hyphenation of name edit

I have just moved this page from Suh Nam Pyo to Suh Nam-pyo. I am aware that Suh's preference for spelling his name is "Suh Nam Pyo" with the space in the given name (KAIST, MIT). However except for The New York Times [2], news media consistently ignore his preference and spell his name as "Suh Nam-pyo". This includes the Associated Press [3] as well as every major English language daily in South Korea (Chosun Ilbo, [4][5], Korea Times [6][7], JoongAng Ilbo [8], The Korea Herald [9]). Given that reliable, independent sources are overriding his preference for how to spell his name for reasons of readability, in my opinion Wikipedia should follow suit. The syllables of his name are not three separate unbound morphemes, and linking the two syllables of the given name (whether by hyphenation or by not inserting a space) reduces confusion among readers who are not familiar with Korean names (which is no doubt why South Korean media generally avoid writing people's names with E Ve Ry Sy La Ble Se Pa Rate). cab (call) 18:07, 29 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
