I am new to having an account on wiki, but what is the way to get the sites attention on this page? Many of Plato's dialogues have admirable synopses and information, but this one is woefully inadequate. I am only an undergraduate philosophy student, so it would be hubristic of myself to make official emendations to this page. I could possibly contribute to other pages (at least in the talk sections) on dialogues I've studied closely, but alas this is not one of them. I write this because I was earnestly looking to find a synopsis, because on the page for Plato's Laws, it says that the Laws is Plato's only undisputed dialogue that does not feature Socrates in it. But this Statesman page does not offer any information on authenticity issues, and the Statesmen features the Eleatic Stranger as the human who leads the dialogue in a fashion reminiscent of Socrates, but not quite a full imitation. Yes, but Socrates is present in the Statesman. He just has a minor role. There is no question concerning its authenticity. RJCTalkContribs 15:54, 11 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Shouldn't there be an article (at least some mention in a section of this article) about the myth of the Reign of Cronos in The Statesman, beginning at about 269? TomS TDotO (talk) 15:52, 30 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
