For the history of St. Mary's Island, Tyne and Wear, England, and its lighthouse, go to www.friendsofstmarysisland.co.uk This site also contains photographs and a description of the buildings and island today.

Coordinates

edit

{{geodata-check}}

Please note that the coordinates in this article need fixing as:

The coordinates of 55.071667,-1.449722 look good and the link to GoogleMaps is precise, but the Multimap link shows Rampton in Nottinghamshire! The National Grid Reference NZ3513475390 is also fine. However, I haven't spotted where the problem with the Multimap link is!

(Later...) One year after the remark above, the Multimap link shows the same location as other mapping tools. BrainMarble (talk) 01:39, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

St Mary's Island (Tyne and Wear)St Mary's Island, Tyne and Wear – Please place your rationale for the proposed move here. Siuenti (씨유엔티) 17:22, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rename to St Mary's Island, Tyne and Wear per WP:NaturalDisambiguation, consistency with other St Mary's Island articles, and WP:DUH. Should have been uncontroversial but hey, WP:Bureaucracy and WP:Let's place the burden on the other guy. Siuenti (씨유엔티) 17:22, 8 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
