RE:Grand Canyon Trails edit

Thanks, I have added a reference to each article, my National Geographic Trail Illustrated map. Cheers, « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) @ 21:48, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Coordinates in infoboxes edit

Thank you for adding coordinates to articles, using {[tl|coord}}. Where {{infobox settlement}} is in use, may I suggest that you add them to that infobox as I did in this edit? The parameters are listed at Infobox Settlement#Geographic information and the output is still done via {{coord}}.Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 14:40, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your example use of coordinates in Infobox Settlement. I have been using Template:Coord and putting coordinates in infoboxes when they allow the use of Coord. Some infobox templates are very clear, such as Template:Infobox Hospital. In Template:Infobox Settlement#Geographic information, however, only coordinates_display mentions Template:Coord, and the explanation lost me. I'll try to remember your example when I cross Infobox Settlement in the future! BrainMarble (talk) 15:18, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Main Page Redesign edit

Hey BrainMarble, I've updated my Main Page Redesign proposal substantially, and you had some really great points last time you commented - hopefully you'll see the effects of your suggestions. It would be great if you could comment on the new proposal, I'm really proud of how it's shaping up. Many thanks -- PretzelsTalk! 08:49, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Huge thanks for your kind remarks. The lack of auto-updating is due to differences in design from the current templates — if my design were selected it would simply be a case of the Main Page teams (eg DYK team) updating a different template daily. However, I will take another look at implementing it because of your concerns. I will let you know if I am successful! Thanks again -- PretzelsTalk! 23:52, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Tiptoety talk 05:56, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
