(rv in the NPOV ideal ...of making peace with another who cares about Star Trek as well I do, and in the selfless interest of intergalactic peace sometimes one just has to do "the greater good" thing.) (Cathytreks 17:03, 26 August 2005 (UTC))Reply

Would it be worth mentioning this setting 'reappears' on an episode of Futurama? I wouldn't normally care about such cultural references but most of the cast does voices for the Futurama episode in question. Lots42 15:56, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I see the Deforest Kelly film appearance has been added and removed before, apologies if it's been deemed irrelevant. WaltTFB (talk) 21:01, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
More trivia than completely irrelevant. WikiuserNI (talk) 09:14, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

The title of this 1968 episode is likely a reference to the 1967 film Hour of the Gun, starring James Garner and Jason Robards. This is probably too trivial for inclusion in either article, though, and I have not yet found any citable references to support this. — Loadmaster (talk) 17:59, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
To add a little background/trivia, DeForest Kelley was originally cast for the role of Morgan Earp in the film, but could not perform the part since he was then engaged with Paramount for Star Trek (see IMDB). — Loadmaster (talk) 00:52, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
