My personal opinion is that this should simply be called Soutra, not Soutra Aisle. I have lived in the Scottish Lowlands all my life and never heard it referred to as anything other than Soutra. All the ancient references refer to the Hospital and Church at Soutra (or Soltra). No 'Aisle'. David Lauder 13:45, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think that this is because that the aisle is all that is extant, of the structures up there, and that only because it was the historic burial site of the Pringles, all other structural remains are below ground. On all official maps and signing it is referreed to as "Soutra Aisle". see OS map Calling this page solely Soutra could cause confusion with the Soutra plateau including Soutra hill itself, Dun Law and its wind farm etc.
