Patron of Old Catholic Confederation edit

Johnson's document found on the occus.webs.com Anglican Communion page states that Johnson accepted "the invitation of the Synod of Bishops of the Old Catholic Confederation to be Patron of this distinct ecclesial body within the Anglican Communion." Various Wikipedia articles represent this as an "ecumenical partnership" between the OCC and the Church of the Province of West Africa.

Patronage of the OCC group by an individual bishop, such as Johnson, cannot constitute an ecumenical partnership with the Church of the Province of West Africa. In other words, the relationship between an individual and a group is not the same as a relationship between a group and another group. --BoBoMisiu (talk) 03:25, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
