I am a professional shoe retailer and thus in the loosest sense imaginable a competitor of Shoe Carnival. There are no Shoe Carnival stores in my region of the country (Pacific Northwest) nor do we consider their online presence to be measurable in our area of the country. I will be scrupulously fair in my coverage of this company, working from sources.
