Fair use rationale for Image:The Zombies Album.jpg
editImage:The Zombies Album.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
No mention of Greg Walker?
editWasn't he the lead vocalist on the Santana cover? Shouldn't his name be mentioned here? (I'd add him myself but I'm not completely sure.) Rosekelleher (talk) 17:45, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

"Patricia"
edit(disclaimer: not an editor)
"The real inspiration for the song, however, was his first love, Patricia, who called off their wedding weeks before and broke his heart."
Two main problems here:
Firstly, there is no citation here, so for all I know this could be based on hearsay. Please cite your sources. I suspect this is taken from a quote, due to lack of specificity regarding Patricia's surname and the phrase, "broke his heart." If not, there are a host of other issues here.
Secondly, the pronoun "he" is unclear. The only person mentioned in this paragraph is the narrator.
This sentence is in severe need of editing and perhaps even deletion. 2602:306:802B:1520:984D:1D7C:329:4406 (talk) 16:39, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
The Cliffmores
editI've just added their cover version, putting a YouTube link in the comment (not in the article), and wasn't allowed to submit because I'd included a link to a blacklisted site. Why on Earth is YouTube blacklisted? Bizarre. --87.113.43.59 (talk) 08:39, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
Australian chart position
editIn § Chart history there is no data about the Australian chart position. This is surprising, as I remember it got plenty of airplay and seemed popular with teenagers, at least. Strangely, we have a #19 given for the Santana cover. Perhaps somebody with access to David Kent's chart book for the period, Australian Chart Book 1940–1969, could supply this info? yoyo (talk) 03:29, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
Recording date
edit12th or 22nd of June? Both are mentioned. AMCKen (talk) 00:52, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
