Temporary fixes for apparent BLP, NPOV and WP:V problems edit

I happened to stumble across this article yesterday. I have just made this edit to apply several temporary fixes for a number of apparent WP:BLP, WP:NPOV, WP:V problems. More work is needed to better address the problems. Interested editors, please take note and edit accordingly. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 06:52, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for proofreading this article. I added citations and a quote of a book. All the citations I added are existent citations. I am sorry for not providing the citation sentence by sentence.―― Phoenix7777 (talk) 08:43, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the corrections. I know nothing about this topic other than what I read here, but the aggressively disapproving tone of the article expressed in Wikipedia's editorial voice was inappropriate. My edits to fix that somewhat were a bit ham-handed, and I appreciate your smoothing that out. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 09:54, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Apparent contradiction with another article. edit

The assertion in the article's lead paragraph that Seijuro Arafune is or has been Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism apparently contradicts the Ministers of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism section of the article about that political office. This apparent contradiction needs to be dealt with. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill)

I am not sure what you mean. He was the Minister of Transport. Ministry of Transport was merged into Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In order to avoid confusion, I changed the sentence to "He was a [[Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism| Minister of Transportation]]".―― Phoenix7777 (talk) 08:43, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I just noticed the discrepancy between the two articles when I looked at that other article and was unable to verify there the assertion made here. Perhaps the problem is in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism article and not here. In either case, though, the contradiction between articles ought to be fixed.
