Inauguration seal --- replica? edit

At the inauguration of a new president, the Chief Justice presents the seal to him.

I suspect this is a replica, and the real seal stays securely in the Áras. National Archives of Ireland file PRES/1/P356 "Presidential seal: replica for presentation to President on appointment" might confirm or refute. jnestorius^(talk) 21:03, 16 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
